Hi, I’m Mish from 9Miles Project and the kids of Elands Bay have captured my heart in a way I can’t fully put into words.

There’s something amazing about them: their grit, their joy, their raw potential and the way they keep showing up despite the challenges they face. I’ve seen how much our programmes mean to them, how these safe spaces help them dream bigger, grow stronger, and believe that their lives can look different. In places like Elands Bay, where resources are limited, this kind of support isn’t just helpful, it’s necessary.

Taking on this challenge is my way of standing with them - of saying, “I see you, I believe in you, and I’m willing to push myself because you push yourselves every day.”

It’s more than surfing; it’s a commitment to the future of these beautiful West Coast kids who deserve every chance to thrive.

My goal is to raise R5,000 to help keep our programmes running strong and changing lives.
