My sister and her family find themselves in a desperate situation.
Mark, her husband, has been diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure due to improper blood pressure medication. He has now been told there is no chance to get on the public health system due to the waiting list and so has gone onto private medical aid, but they will not pay for dialysis until he has been on the medical aid for 1 year. He will not survive that long without twice a week dialysis, and each treatment costs R1,800. Without this urgent care, he won’t survive.
My sister and their two children, aged 15 and 13, are heartbroken and terrified of losing him. We are reaching out to you, hoping for a miracle. Your donation, no matter the size, could save his life and keep this family together. Please help us in this critical time.
