A child is raped in SA every 3 minutes. Most of them are little girls between 4 and 12. Matla A Bana gives emergency comfort packs to little girls when they report the rape. These packs contain comfort goods, something to eat and drink and emergency goods like clean underwear. To report a rape can be a lengthy process - having to tell what happened, having to go an invasive medical examination and facing the rapist. These pack will help them in this extremely traumatic time.
They need 100 packs per age group in every province each month.
