Subject: Request for Financial Support for Matric Dance Celebration
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing on behalf of a group of parents who are organizing a matric dance celebration for the Class of 2025 at Carolina Akademie School in Carolina, Mpumalanga. The school decided not to have a matric dance for this year’s matriculants. As parents we felt this to be very unfair as no solid reason for the decision could be provided by the school.
This event is a milestone in the lives of our young adults, marking the end of their high school journey and the beginning of a new chapter.
As a parent-led initiative, we are working hard to make this evening special and memorable for every learner. We have secured a date for the event, 10 October 2025, and we have already secured quotes for the venue, catering, décor, photography, and entertainment, but we are still in need of financial assistance to cover these costs.
