*“Crazy Sharky” Matthew Runs 100.1km for Charity!*

Meet Matthew, a determined young man from Macassar, affectionately known as the “ *Crazy Sharky* ”, taking on an extraordinary personal challenge: *running 100.1km for charity!*

On *6 September 2025* , starting at *05h00* , Matthew will hit the road from *Macassar to Cape Town's Sea Point Promenade* , wearing his *Helderberg Harriers* colours, inspired by long-distance legend *Paul Eichert* .

This is no official race — this is *Matthew’s own challenge* , proving that “no human is limited.” With a heart full of purpose and shoes full of courage, he’s *running to raise awareness and support for those in need* — families without food, warm clothes, or basic essentials.
