Hi everyone, my name is Mayenziwe Dlamini, and I am a proud member of the KZN Midlands Youth Choir.
I’ve been given an incredible opportunity that I never imagined would be possible — our choir has been officially invited to perform at the Summa Cum Laude (SCL) on Tour International Youth Music Festival, taking place at Sun City from 6–10 August 2026.
This festival is one of the most prestigious youth music events in the world, bringing together talented young musicians from across the globe. Being part of this means I will not only represent my choir, but also my community and South Africa on an international stage.
This opportunity means so much to me. Music has slowly become a part of who I am — it has taught me discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Being part of this festival would truly be a dream come true and a huge step in my journey.
