Meet Mekhi Jegels, a brave 13-year-old boy from South Africa who has defied the odds since the day he was born prematurely, weighing only 730 grams.

Despite his incredible resilience, Mekhi's journey has been marked by medical challenges due to his premature birth.

Unfortunately, some of Mekhi's organs haven't fully developed, necessitating surgeries to ensure his health and well-being. Having already faced several surgeries in the past, Mekhi is now gearing up for another important procedure scheduled for June 2024.
