We are thrilled to share some exciting news—Megan Shepherd has been invited to compete at the prestigious 2024 Irish Winter Championships in Dublin from December 13th to 16th!
Megan is a talented and dedicated athlete, a proud member of TuksSwimming Club, and a student at the University of Pretoria. As a senior national swimmer, she has represented her university at the USSA Swimming Championships and made waves at open water national events.
This international opportunity is a significant milestone in Megan’s swimming career, offering her the chance to compete at a higher level and gain invaluable experience as a proud South African on a global stage.
However, dreams like these come with a price tag. The total cost of Megan’s trip is between R35,000 and R40,000, covering travel, accommodation, and competition expenses.
