Membership and Accreditation

I am an Editor and Proofreader and specialize in producing clear, relatable text using English that is simple, meaningful and elegant. 

I have edited texts of every kind over the past ten years, from poetry to journal articles; mostly academic writing, but I have done corporate work, memoirs, novels, training manuals and CVs. I edit and give detailed, insightful feedback that can elevate a text from mediocre to outstanding; resulting in a few dissertations that were passed with distinctions.

I regularly edit theses, dissertations and journal articles, reports, CVs, and have absolutely enjoyed working on an academic journal and a few works of fiction. Most of my clients are postgraduate students whose first language is not English.

My rates are reasonable, and I am flexible, fast, and my clients have always been satisfied with their improved manuscripts.

I would love to join the Professional Editors Guild (PEG) and pass the accreditation test in to become an Accredited Text Editor (ATE) and thereafter expand my tiny editing firm with possible employment...
