Mieke Prinsloo is my 5-year-old daughter.

She has been diagnosed with Primary Grade 4 VUR (vesicoureteral reflux) on her right kidney. This means that urine pushes up from the bladder into the right kidney causing damage and scarring. She underwent urodynamic studies in Sandton to verify the bladder problem and it has been decided to do a wait-and-see approach moving forward with her kidney and diagnosis as she gets multiple aggressive and recurrent UTI infections.
