For a family member to gather funds for medical and development reasons.
A little girl Called Mileah, 6 years old and has cerebral palsy she had a stroke during birth that caused her to get Hemiparesis and is undergoing physiotherapy and occupational therapy and as well speech therapy since she was 6 months old
Mom can not Work at the moment as Mileah needs 24/7 care and attention. Mileah's dad is the sole provider of the family and as we all know life is expensive
Living on one salary can get hard and theytry their best to make it work but sometimes even that is not enough when things are so expensive for kids with special needs as it is
AFO every 6 months hand splints every 6-8 months round about cost per year +/- R40 000 incl appointments
Physio around R480 every second week
O.T R360 per session (every second week)
Then speech therapy every week
School R2650pm because no normal school would accept her due to her dissability
And private schools dont do subsidy
And on a small sal...
