Using sport to raise R25,000 for education.

Access to quality education can change the course of a child’s life. At The Honeybush Collective Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment where they are known, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. For some families, the cost of that education is simply out of reach. That is why Community in Action (CIA) is once again joining forces with The Honeybush Collective to raise funds for the school’s Beehive Bursary Fund, once again using the power of sport to make a difference.

In October 2026, three women connected to this cause will take on half-marathons with one shared goal: to raise R25,000 towards the Beehive Bursary Fund.

Fran Denton, Principal of The Honeybush Collective will run the Nelson Mandela Half Marathon on Sunday, 18 October.
