Once upon a sun-kissed field in Groblersdal, young MJ de Beer cradled a rugby ball in his hands. The grass whispered secrets to him, the dreams of champions, the echoes of roaring crowds and the legacy of heroes who once stood on the edge of that same possibility.
MJ's biggest dream lay before him like an open field - a chance to take part in a tour to Portugal. BR Sport International has extended its hand, inviting him to a rugby odyssey from 5th to 14th Dec 2024. The promise of top-tier coaching and fierce matches in the air.
His heart raced every time he donned the first team jersey, an emblem of his aspirations. To be seen, recognized and etched into history…. that was his goal! He yearns to shine a bright as Morne Steyn, the legendary fly-half, that stood tall in MJ's pantheon of heroes. MJ vowed to emulate Steyn's precision.
The dream is no longer a whisper, it is a battle cry. An opportunity!
