Opportunity to study in Italy

Our son, Mogobo Motimele (19) got a scholarship to study Bachelor of Fine Arts in Italy at the American University of Rome. The scholarship covers accommodation and 1/3 of tuition fees. This campaign is intended to raise the remaining 2/3, ((7700 (tuition) +1250 (heath insurane & permit) in Euros) about R186 000 - based on 22 June 2023 exchange rates).

We are unable to raise the amount as I have no stable source of income currently and my spouse's income is not sufficient - we can only cover travel costs. We could not raise the remaining portion through other scholarships as many either do not support students who already have some funding or because the demand for international scholarships is too high. Mogobo will contribute towards his living expenses through part-time employment which the faculty helps students to secure. All the donations will be paid directly into the university account.
