Monique is my sister. She is a wife, mother, friend and colleague and a helping hand to so many people who has been in need of help. My sister lost all her feeling in her lower body on the 2nd of February. 
 
Monique has been diagnosed with stage 3 bone cancer(myeloma) and she will not be able to walk again in her life. Monique does not have a medical aid.  She needs to be submitted into a rehabilitation centre ASAP.  We are struggling to get her into a rehabilitation centre and that’s why we urgently need to raise funds for her. 
 
I pray that she will be able to see her children grow up.  Although she will never be able to walk again. We need to raise enough funds to send her to a rehabilitation centre. Thereafter she will start her chemotherapy at Steve Biko. 
 
We are asking you to help us with the possible.  We know God is in control and He will do the impossible.

Monique is still busy with chemotherapy. She is doing good and is very positive. She is also busy with physiotherapy. Please keep her in your prayers. It is a very difficult road she is on.

Dr is happy with healing progress. He is concerned about her spasms, she will neec a Baclofen pump to be implanted to try and assist with spasms.

Monique is busy with chemotherapy and will have to go for a bone marrow transplant in a few months
