It is with very sad news that we have to reach out to family, friends and community in acquiring much needed funds for my Dad, Monty Steele, 67 years old.
He has been diagnosed with Stage 6 Renal Kidney failure, he doesn't have Medical Aid and needs to be admitted to hospital to start treatment.
They will start with flushing the kidneys and treatment but he will have to go to theater to put in a Dialysis Port so he can start dialysis with a minimum of 3 times a week.
This is going to be a long road to recovery with a lot financial obligations.
There will be other medical cost but for now it is estimated at +/- R150k, a deposit of R15k is required upfront.
Monty has been part of the Newcastle Community for over 50 years, he has played music for many occasions celebrating many weddings, birthdays, various functions, he was a vehicle salesman for may years and currently an Assessor.
