I still remember the day I was called into my daughter’s classroom.

I was told she was making noise, so I walked in as a mother, ready to understand what had happened. But when I entered the room, I saw something far bigger. It was not only my daughter. Many children were making noise because there was no teacher in the classroom.

I felt fear and sadness. Other children their age had access to guided classrooms, technology, laboratories and opportunity. These learners had curiosity and potential too, but they were being left without the same chance.

Mogaleadi Foundation exists to bring technology, digital literacy and STEAM learning closer to rural learners, teachers, unemployed youth and communities. Through campaigns, workshops, devices and a future STEM Hub, we help learners explore careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts.
