A Mother’s Legacy Lives On Through Her Children
Friday, 17 April 2026 was meant to be a day of celebration for the Nndwa–Mukwevho–Nemutwani family of Masakona Village in Limpopo. It was the day Ms. Mulalo Nndwa was to walk across the stage at the University of the Free State and receive her Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning — a moment she had worked tirelessly towards.
Tragically, just moments before she could receive her qualification, Mulalo passed away.
Mulalo’s life was defined by resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to building a better future — not only for herself, but for those she loved. She had already earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Management, followed by a Bachelor of Spatial Planning Honours degree.
