WHAT’S THE DREAM AND HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Our dream is to enter the South African Basketball National League (BNL) and eventually the Basketball Africa League (BAL), a first for a basketball club in Cape Town.  A key step in this journey is to participate in basketball tournaments outside of the Western Cape. The Soweto Basketball Uprising Tournament is one of the biggest, taking place from 14 to 17 June 2024 at the Soweto Basketball Academy.  This is where the best U18 teams will battle it out on the court for the ultimate championship. 

We would love to take a team of 40 girls and boys, along with management and coaches, to take part in this event.  To do so we will need to raise R300 000 – approximately R8000 per participant - to cover transport, accommodation, meals and equipment.
