Mxos Championship Fund

Mxoleleni Tabata is my younger brother, a 20 years old triathlete from Motherwell in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. He began this journey at the Motherwell indoor sports centre in 2018 when he was playing around like other kids, swimming in the local swimming pool. He was then spotted by his current sports mentor Chris Nomoyi when he portrayed great potential in swimming. He started small, taking part in short distance triathlons and grew to take part in long distance races and won many races that he never thought he would win, making himself and us his family proud.

Mxo, as we affectionately call him, has taken part in almost all local triathlon competitions and has won numerous times. He is recognized well by local age group camps around the province with great presence and dominance in the Nelson Mandela Bay and Garden route camps.
