Urgent Surgery for My Mom – She Needs Our Help
My mom is one of the most selfless, hardworking, and compassionate people I know. She works seven days a week at Beatty House, caring for people with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia—always putting others before herself.
Two days ago, while at work, she had a terrible fall and broke her femur. She was taken to a public hospital, where she spent two days in excruciating pain without any pain medication before finally being moved to a private hospital for surgery. She has already endured so much trauma, but now, while recovering from her leg operation, doctors have discovered a serious blockage in her stomach that requires urgent surgery.
This time, her medical insurance will not cover the operation, and we have no choice but to act fast. This surgery cannot wait, and I am deeply worried about what will happen if we can’t get her the help she needs in time.
