About This Campaign
We're a motley crew taking on a transatlantic crossing, from Cape Town in South Africa, to the Caribbean. This is Nautism, my personal mission to boost Autism awareness and support by raising funds, and donating them to “Autism South Africa”.
I am a critical care paramedic, and I occasionally treat young autistic patients, which has made me aware of their daily challenges.
Autism South Africa does some amazing work to raise awareness, educate parents, prevent bullying of autistic children through education, and even advocates for the best interests of autistic people by engaging with government.
I'm hoping to draw attention to this cause by posting daily vlogs - where I can- to document our journey. Please help me make a real difference in the lives of the different.
