Christo and Andri was renting a flat when hardship struck. Christo lost his job when the owner of the company went overseas overnight and closed his company. They have succesfully won a CCMA award and a order by sherrif, but the owner can not be found.
Andri then had a accident at work and due to the company not being complient and not following procedures she also lost her job.
The owner of the flat told them that they can stay free as long as they want and that he will assist them to get back on their feet.
Then came the problems. Landlord wanted to marry Andri. Offered her a lot of money etc. Landlord was then caught out by his children and he played victim and they were evicted. Locks was changed etc.
They then won a small battle at the rental tribunal that allowed them back in the flat from 23 November 2025, only to receive order on 10 December that they need to vacate on 30 December 2025.
They have a 9 year old son in the house that could not have a Christmas and that faces the real possibillity of being homeless by the end of the month.
