My name is Juanita Schoeman, and I’m raising funds to help my daughter realise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: representing her school and country on an international hockey tour to the Netherlands.
She’s a passionate, dedicated young player who has worked incredibly hard since picking up a hockey stick at a very young age. Her determination has earned her a place on Ladysmith High School’s First Team, and now, an invitation to be part of this special tour — a dream come true and a chance to grow in skill, confidence, and leadership.
This isn’t just about a trip overseas. It’s about giving her the opportunity to gain international exposure, meet players from around the world, and bring back valuable experience to inspire others in her community. She carries not only her stick and gear — but the hopes of many young athletes who dream of something bigger.
The full cost of the tour is R70,000, which includes flights, accommodation, meals, transport, and tour fees. So far, we’ve raised R32 750.00 and every bit helps us get closer.
