Following a year of needing to pivot fast due to a boring running injury, I decided to take to the ocean.
A few surf ski lessons later and I'm now, sort of, ready for the 15kms double Robben Island crossing on a kayak. This Monday (28th August) I'll be joined by the lovely Cinzia Cokayne to support a swimming buddy, Gregory Player, who will be doing a solo swim crossing.
And now for the WHY.
Besides the massively exciting adventure... :)
It has been a really cold wet winter. I'd love to support the selfless team at Fallen Angels who are doing a sterling job with all the fur babies needing a meal, a warm bed and the chance to find a loving home.
Any amount of dosh will do, no matter how small.
