New Beginnings Rescue Vehicle

Every rescue starts with a journey.

For over 13 years, New Beginnings has been travelling across Bloemfontein and surrounding communities to rescue abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Our rescue bakkie isn't just a vehicle—it is a lifeline.

It transports injured animals to the vet, delivers hundreds of kilograms of food to hungry dogs and cats, carries kennels, blankets and bowls to families in need, and takes our team into townships where animals have no one else to help them.

This week, our hearts were shattered when our rescue bakkie broke down and its not ioperational. 

We had to postpone an important outreach because we simply couldn't get there.

Without our bakkie, animals suffer. 
Sick and injured animals can't reach the vet. Outreach projects are delayed. 
Food can't be delivered. Rescue calls have to wait.
For years we have hoped to replace our ageing vehicle, but like many animal welfare organisations, every cent we receive goes directly to saving lives.
