Good Morning All,
My name is Nicholas Gradwell and i live in Durban, South Africa, I am the sole bread winner and rely on my car daily In December between christmas and new years my car started giving problems that gradually got worse it started with a Rough idle and then the Turbo packed up, i have managed to replace the turbo at a cost of R5200, I am going to list the things that have been done so far to my car to make it easier:
- Turbo has been replaced
- I have replaced 3 sets of spark plugs
- Injectors have been stripped and overhauled and cleaned
- Fan belt has been changed
- Upstream and down stream Oxygene Sensors have both been replaced
- MAPS Sensor has been replaced
- Coil Packs have been replaced
All of this cost close to R12000, I have sent the car to multiple mechanics who have tried to diagnose and fix the problem which hasn't helped. The last mechanic the car went to has said the car is in Limp mode now and that is because the catal...
