About This Campaign

Help Me Fight Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer) and Continue My Dream of Becoming an Architect
My name is Niël Zeeman. I am 19 years old, and I have recently been diagnosed with conventional osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer in my right upper arm.
What started as swelling in my shoulder slowly became painful and concerning. After scans and a biopsy, I was diagnosed with a high-grade malignant bone tumour. Thankfully, scans show that it has not spread to my lungs, which means there is still a real chance of cure, but treatment must begin urgently.
At the same time, I am about to begin my architectural studies, a dream I have worked hard for and something I am deeply passionate about. Despite this diagnosis, I am determined not to put my future on hold. My plan is to undergo chemotherapy while continuing my studies, as far as my health allows. Architecture represents creativity, purpose, and the future I am still fighting for.
