Nina and her Brother Cody was born on 24 February 2023, a few days later Cody went home, but Nina stayed in hospital for another month as they struggled with all kind of problems, from blood pressure to feeding her.
Went home after her parents (both working and earning middle-class salary between the two of them, but now has 5 kids at home) medical aid has been exhausted due to this long hospitalization. She still struggled with a bad immune system, but her parents got taught how to keep this under control.
Mid-June 2023 Nina had Blood in her stool and they had to go back and get tests done. She was diagnosed with CDI / C.Diff (Clostridium difficile).
She had to be hospitalized again and after being released from the hospital now she will have to go back again for an endoscopy to make sure her intestines have not been damaged and to see if an operation will be necessary. All of this is for payment from the parents and is not covered by medical aid.
