Ni'Yokes Netball Dream

Hello, my name is Ni'Yoke van Tonder, a 15 year old high school pupil with big dreams and aspirations. I like to call myself Ni'Yoke “netball” van Tonder and eat, sleep and dream netball.

I have worked really hard to be able to tell you my story regarding my love for netball. I was in primary school Gr R when my love started for the game with huge dreams, in Grade 6 my dreams got shattered by not making the team at school but I decided I will push through and work harder and not stop….and then in Grade 7, I was chosen for the first team of my school and also for a provincial team. From there on it was just success after success. I am currently playing for my schools u16 A team since grade 8. I was also chosen as the captain for my team in grade 8 and 9. My recent success story is that I am now chosen to travel to the UK and experience netball in a whole new world. I have represented the Vaal Triangle in tournaments and also play action netball in my spare time where I have also played interprovincially.
