Our beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Novalee, has been fighting illness for the past six months.
After countless doctor visits, medication and treatment, we were referred to an ENT specialist. Novalee has severely swollen adenoids and enlarged tonsils, and she has been advised to undergo a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.
💔 Her Daily Battle
For the past six months, Novalee has been unable to breathe through her nose and has had to breathe through her mouth constantly.
She wakes up crying almost every night and what makes everything so difficult is she also suffers from asthma and has been on chronic medication since the age of 1 years old.
She battles with constant congestion, coughing, painful and infected throats requiring regular antibiotics, nosebleeds and painful, burning nasal passages.
She now requires ongoing antihistamines, nasal sprays and nasal creams alongside her asthma treatment, and we have needed to take her to the doctor approximately every 2–3 weeks.
