Petro Smit - Chronic myelogenous leukemia Treatment

My sister Petro Smit needs help. She was diagnosed with Chronic myeloid leukemia 2 July 2024, 22 days before her 40th Birthday.

Since i can remember she has been tired, short of breath and more prone to sickness. Most would say it would be because she needed to lose some weight. When she started losing weight, she got compliment after compliment but she still felt really tired all the time. It is only until she went to the dr and requested a bloodtest to test her thyroid function that reality hit. She has CANCER!!

Obviously it was a huge shock for all of us. She is the youngest of 10 siblings with a 10 year old daughter who needs her mommy.  There was no doubt that she has to do anything to fight, even though it might be the hardest battle of her life.

Tests showed she has been severely aneamic, backdated results shown it was the case for many years. Whiteblood count was through the roof, Red bloodcount rock bottom. Ct scans and Sonar showed that her spleen and liver is very enlarged.

Due to the alarming results they got Petro admitted to Netcare Olive...
