My name is Tunita, and I’m a mom who just wants to enjoy life with my kids again—without the constant discomfort that has taken over my every day.

For most of my life, I have lived with a growth in my nose. In my 20s, I had surgery to remove it, but within six months, my nose was completely blocked again. Over the years, I learned to live with it, but two weeks ago, everything changed— I felt a shift and my airways was even more blocked. Now, I can’t breathe properly, and I’m in serious discomfort every day.

On March 27, I will see Dr. Sarel van Staden, an ENT specialist in George, Western Cape, who will assess everything. While Im hoping to maybe be treated at a public hospital, I need to cover the costs of the specialists and surgeons involved, all the tests and appointments etc. Righ...
