Hi, my name is uLungile. I am a young woman from a small village in Bergville called Rookdale.
In 2020, I was given the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of the Witwatersrand. Despite facing constant trials and challenges along the way, I persevered and remained committed to my dream.
In 2025, I successfully met all the academic requirements needed to obtain my degree. However, one obstacle now stands between me and finally walking across the graduation stage and holding my qualification in my hands: my outstanding tuition fees.
I currently owe the university R60 000 which needs to be paid before I can graduate.
