Portia Tabola's Dance & Academic Bursary

Portia is our eldest bursary student, a matriculant at Pro-Arte Alphen Park High School, a proud Sotho girl from Plasticview Township/Woodlain Villiage in Moreleta Park Pretoria.  She has been dancing for 11 of her 12 school years with the help of Rhythm of Hope Outreach. Her current ballet level is: RAD Advanced Foundation, and her dance major is Jazz, but she has also been exposed to Spanish dancing during her High School Years. She has been recognised by the Pro-Arte Dance Department for her Choreographic abilities in 2023. From 2024, she has been our Social Media Page Manager creating and posting to our social media on a weekly basis. She is also an active member of Doxa Deo Parkview Church, serving wherever she can. In our experience, she is a hard, dedicated, honest and hard worker, worthy of your investment. 

In the past GROOT FM & We Buy Cars has been a great source of encouragement and funding towards her bursary. This year, despite funding applications and efforts, we have not yet been able to secure formal funding agreements with any sponsors. <...
