Praise Ntshekang: A Brave Little Fighter's Battle with Cancer
Meet Praise Ntshekang, a vibrant 4-year-old whose life took a challenging turn in 2021 when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). For two long years, Praise courageously endured the grueling treatment, and by June 2023, we celebrated the news that he had completed his therapy.
However, our joy was short-lived. In April 2024, during a routine check-up, we received the devastating news that Praise’s cancer had returned. Now, he is once again bravely facing chemotherapy, currently on his 25th day. Each session takes its toll, and today, Praise is particularly unwell due to an infection and the harsh reactions to the treatment.
Despite the relentless challenges, Praise continues his fight at Baragwanath Hospital, showing remarkable strength and resilience.
