Protecting Babies, Defending Hope

Every year in South Africa, newborn babies are abandoned in circumstances that place their lives at immediate risk. Many are left in unsafe locations such as fields, drains, rubbish dumps, toilets, public spaces, or other environments where they are exposed to injury, illness, violence, or death.

At Baby Savers SA, we believe that every baby deserves a chance to live, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their birth. We also believe that when a mother is facing an overwhelming crisis, there should always be a safe alternative to unsafe abandonment.

This campaign has been launched to raise funds to expand the availability of Baby Saver Boxes and to protect the future of safe relinquishment options in South Africa.

Our goal is simple: save more babies by making safe relinquishment more accessible and ensuring these life-saving interventions can continue to operate.
