Purpose In Every Stroke:

I’m not just swimming for myself.

I’m swimming for something far greater.

My name is Alon Sarembock, and I am preparing to take on one of the most physically and mentally demanding open water challenges, the crossing from Robben Island to Bloubergstrand.

But this is more than just a swim.

Swimming has always been a part of my life. It has taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep moving forward even when things feel impossible. But it was my journey working at Lagoon Beach Hotel that truly changed my perspective.

Being surrounded by the ocean every day deepened my connection to it. It made me appreciate not only its beauty, but also its fragility.

That’s where my connection to SANCCOB began.
