I am reaching out with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. My father, Quintus Serton, aged 64, is fighting for his life after a brutal and senseless attack.

My dad has always been an active part of the community, known for his generosity and unwavering support of local businesses and tradespeople. On December 9th, tragedy struck when he was viciously assaulted by three men in his own home.

He is currently in Milpark Hospital JHB's trauma unit, suffering a broken right arm, severe head and facial injuries, multiple lacerations, and requiring 210 stitches to his head. Despite making slow but steady progress, his medical bills have exceeded R450,000 due to lack of medical cover.

His journey to recovery will be long, requiring further medical procedures and therapy to regain his health. He urgently needs financial support, and every donation will directly contribute to covering his ongoing treatment and medical expenses.
