Every year, thousands of people in South Africa suffer from strokes, leaving them with speech difficulties, mobility challenges, and emotional struggles. Many survivors in public hospitals lack the resources they need for recovery such as therapy tools, communication aids, and basic comfort items.

I started Stroke Connect because my grandmother passed away after a stroke, and I saw firsthand how difficult recovery can be. No one should have to go through this journey alone. That’s why I’m raising R4,000 to create and donate Recovery Kits for stroke survivors in public hospitals.
