Back a Buddy Campaign for Damian Pottas
Damian Pottas, a Grade 11 student at Hoërskool Goudrif, was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on Friday, which has left him with life-threatening injuries and in critical condition. His injuries include:
• A crushed sacrum, along with severe nerve and muscle damage
• Loss of bladder control
• A broken shoulder and leg
• Both hips fractured, with the right side being the most severe
• A deep wound on his back, running from one hip to the other, with a gap of about 7cm
• Deteriorating kidney function, and he is now waiting for dialysis
• Intense pain and discomfort
