On 10 April, a devastating fire destroyed Chivas Bar & Restaurant in Masavana, Guinjata, Mozambique — a place that was far more than just a bar.
Chivas' was a vibrant community hub. It brought together local residents and visitors, created much-needed jobs, and contributed to the local economy. For many, it was a place of connection, celebration, and livelihood.
