Campaign Story: Rehabilitating Connaught Bridge Through Community Action

Connaught Bridge is a highly visible public space that has suffered years of illegal dumping, neglect and environmental damage. What should be a place of connection and pride has instead become associated with waste, pollution and disuse.

This campaign is about rehabilitating the space and returning it to the community.

USE-IT Waste Beneficiation (RF) NPC is working with local residents, artists and community participants to clean, restore and re-activate the Connaught Bridge area through coordinated waste removal, site rehabilitation and public art. By combining environmental clean-up with creative and community-led action, the project aims to transform the space into one that is safer, cleaner and visibly cared for.
