Our beloved son, Darren Pretorius, is just 29 years old — young, full of potential, and with his whole life ahead of him. Tragically, he recently suffered a stroke that has drastically altered the course of his life.
This unexpected medical crisis has left him facing a long and challenging road to recovery. He now requires specialized medication, ongoing therapy (including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy), and possibly assistive devices to help him regain mobility and independence.
As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him emotionally and physically, but the financial burden is overwhelming. He has no Medical aid to cover the costs.
