Recovering with Resolve: Anrichelle Nortje Car Accident

I am Anrichelle Nortje, currently a fourth-year B.Ed student, balancing full-time work and studies. 

Teaching is my passion, and I find immense joy in working with young learners. 

Netball holds a special place in my heart, and I hold a SA Umpiring grading, reflecting my dedication to the sport. 

In May, I survived a serious car accident that led to a challenging recovery. I spent three days in the ICU trauma ward, followed by four days in high care, and underwent rehabilitation thereafter. My injuries included a fractured left ankle requiring a plate, a cracked right hand, a small tear in my liver, and two fractures in my back. 

This experience has been the toughest and most challenging time of my life, and I am grateful for every day. 

Unfortunately, my medical aid does not cover all expenses associated with seeing the trauma doctor, neurosurgeon, orthopedic surgeon, and ongoing rehabilitation with the physiotherapist, which has proven to be quite costly.&n...
