REFUGEE MINISTRY VEHICLE NEEDED

Hi, we are Nico and Vicky van Wyk, a missionary couple working full-time with ETHNOS MOVEMENT INTERNATIONAL MALAWI. For years, our hearts have been anchored in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi, where we’ve walked alongside those who’ve lost so much. We provide pastoral care, trauma support, spiritual guidance, and practical help to those striving to rebuild their lives.

But friends, we are facing a huge challenge right now—one that directly affects our ability to serve the people we love and care for. We need a reliable 4x4 diesel vehicle. You see, the work we do involves traveling on some of the toughest roads imaginable—paths where ordinary vehicles just can’t go. This vehicle will allow us to reach the farthest corners of the camp, to carry supplies, and to connect with those who are longing for hope and help.

After careful research, we’ve found that we might need to buy in South Africa, but this comes at a cost we can’t meet alone. We’re aiming to raise R150,000+ to cover the purchase, transport to Malawi, insurance, and import costs for the first year. If we can find...
