This man, Renovat, is a Checkers Sixty60 delivery driver. He was very badly hurt in a horrible accident last month. He is married with two children. The baby is just 3 months old. He suffered a severe brain injury and is in ICU at Albert Luthuli Hospital, His brother is also a delivery driver and is keeping me informed.
I happened to be driving in Herrwood Drive and past the scene of the accident. I saw him lying there on the road, and then the car that collided with him. I thought he was possibly not going to make it. And I just feel the need to help. These drivers get paid per delivery, so if he does not work, he does not get paid.
He is apparently able to see and hear and can even talk. Beyond that, I do not know his prognosis.
Please donate. I think any amount will help him and his family. will end up owing the banks and there will be nothing for Renovat. I am hoping to achieve at least R10 000. More would be great. Please help me and share this appeal far wand wide. All the funds raised after dedctions to...
