Hello everyone, my name is Rosie Ramorei, and I live in Riverside View.

In April 2023, at the age of 43, I suffered a cerebrovascular stroke (CVA). What I initially thought was a simple leg cramp turned into a life-altering medical emergency. I lost movement on my entire left side and was hospitalised after doctors discovered bleeding on my brain.

I survived, but life has not been the same since.

The stroke affected my mobility and muscle function, and I continue to live with post-stroke complications that require ongoing care and monitoring. Recovery has been slow and physically demanding.

As a result, I lost my job and my ability to earn a steady income. As a single mother, this has been incredibly difficult. I have been doing everything I can to rebuild — including offering freelance bookkeeping services and working toward integrating Sage software so I can regain financial independence.

Despite my efforts, I am now facing eviction due to outstanding rent, with a deadline of 1 April 2026 to settle the arrears or vacate our home.
