Rescue is Life Rescuers

We were approached by two young brothers in a low-income community, a moment that has never left us.

They shared a single pair of shoes. One each, just to ease the burning tar beneath their feet on that scorching day and between them… they gently carried their dog, making their way to us.

We walked away from that day changed, what stayed with us wasn’t just the image, it was the truth behind it. There are people, families, children who love their animals but simply cannot afford to care for them. Not treatment. Not sterilisation. Not even the most basic necessities and how could they when they are fighting just to survive themselves?

That moment shifted something in us. We made a decision to step in, to show up more, to give more of our time, our energy, and our hearts to the communities who need it most. The ones who suffer quietly. Who have nowhere to turn, yet still do everything they can for the animals they care for.
