Restarting My Life

Hello there!

This is really difficult to both share and explain but I'll try my best. The last 3 years of my life has been the absolute most difficult time I have ever faced. It started with retrenchment and the inability to secure any kind of employment. I worked for the same company for almost 14 years. My work was my main focus and occasionally I worked up to 14 hours a day. I've literally sent out thousands of applications, called in favours with family and friends. I've had a few interviews but nothing that ever led to any kind of work. 

Last year I was slightly thankful to not be working when my father was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma in his lungs, colon, brain and liver. It was a soul destroying 9 weeks watching my father lose parts of himself and eventually lose his battle against. On top of that, 5 other people in my life passed away last year. The person I considered to be a sibling took his own life not long before my father passed away. As a result of that, I was put on suicide watch by my own doctor.
